Karnataka are very pleased to introduce our new band member, world class drummer and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Pallagrosi!

In recent years the band has been working with session drummers to ensure we had the best possible drummer in the drum seat and in that respect we’ve been very fortunate to have worked with some of the UK’s top musicians. However, we’ve always felt that in an ideal world it would be great to have the best possible drummer who was also a band member and part of the team, playing a full role in the song writing and arrangements. Enter Jimmy Pallagrosi!

Jimmy hails from Lyon in France and is now based in London. He is endorsed by Yamaha drums and has previously worked as a drum demonstrator for Yamaha, Paiste and ProOrca for whom he has performed extensively in France including at some major French drum festivals.

Jimmy is already bringing a fresh energy and dynamic to the sound and the new album. We look forward to sharing that with you soon.

You can check out Jimmy’s playing in this video from one of his previous projects featuring ex-Dream Theater keyboard player Derek Sherinan.

The band recently spent some time working on the new album at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios near Bath. It was a great experience and the results sound superb!

The band filmed the Leamington Spa Assembly show on their Forbidden Dreams tour but had not initially planned to release the whole concert. However, it's a great performance and really captures the energy of that show and the tour in general. The band have therefore decided to make it available at some stage on DVD. There is no release date planned yet but we'll keep you updated.
